Trees Breathe – 21 Days Of Oregon Fall in 2 Minutes, Time Lapse

This is a video that took me nearly a month to complete. You’ll see the leaves of a Maple tree turn from green to red and slowly fall in the Oregon Autumn. Everyday the trees limps slowly climb to the sky. Before morning they’ve already dropped to the same position as before. In this video you notice this motion because I cut out all of the nights. By the end of the video you’ll see a Grandma and Grandpa with two Grandchildren raking up all of the leaves. The video was taken looking through a window that got a strong glare every time the sun would shine on it, but luckily in Oregon’s Autumn that is a rare occurrence. The video was shot with a Samsung HMX-S16. It was on the time lapse setting of one frame taken at every 10 seconds. The full video would have been around 50 or more minutes, but I increased the speed during the editing process by two thousand times. I hope to have better time lapses in the future. Still a learning process for me.
