Economic Collapse, But Oregon to build new Insane Asylum

On September 27, 2011 the Oregonian reported that Governor John Kitzhaber asked agencies for budget cut plans, in case the state is a billion short. The next day September 28, 2011, No Sugar Coated News finds the Governor in Junction City, Oregon campaigning for the construction of a possible 185 million dollar mental institution.

The town hall meeting was set up by State Representative Val Hoyle, and hosted at First Baptist Church of Junction City. Representative Val Hoyle is a staunch advocate for the facility, mainly for the idea that the construction and staffing for operation will bring jobs to her district, that she represents. The town hall meeting was filled with construction union representatives, local and state government employees, all in favor for the mental hospital. The first man from the crowed of attendees to voice opposition of the institution was quickly hushed by Val Hoyle when he started making a very compelling argument against the care the facility would offer.
Watch below as Aaron Baker of No Sugar Coated News shows video footage of the meeting, along with his commentary explaining the roots of the insanity.
